What I offer

How we work together

Therapy with me is online, collaborative, and tailored to meet your current needs. Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes, conducted via secure video conferencing.

I'm direct, warm, and genuinely invested in your forward movement, into creating the life you want, making more sense to yourself, being able to move through the world more often in the ways that are in sync with your truth.

Individual Therapy

For creative, self-aware adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, grief, life transitions, identity shifts, relationship struggles, addiction recovery and family legacy.

You've probably done some version of self-reflection already. You may know your patterns pretty well. And you're still living inside them.

That's not a failure. That's what therapy is actually for — not just more insight, but integration. Understanding what's underneath, and figuring out how to move.

What I work with:

  • Anxiety & overthinking — Your mind rarely slows down. Decisions, relationships, and concerns about the future all get processed intensely — perhaps at 3 am.

  • ADHD & neurodivergence — You're not lazy or broken. Your brain works differently. We build real strategies to help you be more effective in your life.

  • Life transitions & reinvention — A relationship ending, a career shift, a relocation, an identity that no longer fits. You're not lost — you're in the middle of forging a new way of being.

  • Grief — Loss changes things. It can upend everything you thought you knew. Therapy becomes a place to make sense of this new reality. With integrity. Without deadlines.

  • Family legacy & emotionally immature parents — The patterns you grew up in don't just disappear. We work to understand them, grieve them, and stop being run by them.

  • Addiction & recovery — Whether you're early in recovery or working on long-term sobriety from alcohol or other drugs or other addictive behaviors, we work together to identify and put into practice new ways of understanding, being, coping.

ADHD Therapy

For adults who having been grappling with this label for a long time, or just got diagnosed, or finally suspect they should be.

ADHD in adults — especially in women, and especially in creative, high-functioning people — is wildly underdiagnosed. If you've spent your life wondering why everything feels harder than it should, why your systems collapse, why you can't just do the thing... there may be a reason.

I have ADHD. I work with ADHD. I understand the gap between knowing what you need to do and actually doing it — and I won't make you feel broken for it. There’s so much more to ADHD than just being hyper or impulsive or easily distracted. ADHD and other types of neurodivergence affect so many aspects of who we are, from executive functioning defecits to hypsersensitivity to emotional dysregulation to hyperfocus.

We develop a comprehensive approach to help you succeed much more often at what’s important to you — and with more ease. We work practically through small steps, real strategies, self-compassion, and hopefully some amusement.

Couples Therapy

For partners who love each other and keep getting stuck in negative cycles of disconnection.

Most couples aren’t fighting about what they think they're fighting about. Underneath the argument about dishes or money or who said what is usually something more tender: Are you there for me? Am I important enough? Do my needs matter?

In couples therapy, primarily I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), one of the most well-researched and effective approaches for couples work. We identify the cycle you keep getting pulled into — the one where one person pursues and the other withdraws, or both defend — and we learn to understand what’s really driving it, and how to respond differently when it starts. We work toward more openness, more responsiveness, more repair, and reconnection. Ultimately, our work allows you both to be more emotionally available, responsive, and engaged with each other consistently, over the long haul.

You don't have to be in crisis to come to couples therapy. Some of the best work happens with people who are functional and stable and just want to go deeper.

Approaches from which I draw

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Mindfulness-based practices

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) — used selectively

  • Somatic awareness — informed by 10 years as a bodyworker

I have worked in the counseling profession for 5+ years, in several settings — inpatient rehab, community mental health, and private practice. I have extensive experience working with people struggling with: neurodivergence, dysfunctional families, addiction, suicidal thinking and behaviors, grief of all kinds, gender and sexual identity, complex trauma from chronic neglect or abuse, relationship struggles, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and narcissistic abuse.

I work best with creative, self-aware adults, often neurodivergent, often from families marked by emotional immaturity and other dysfunction. People in transition. People grieving all sorts of things. People wanting to follow a more creative path. People who may identify as queer. People who may be frustrated artists. People who perhaps understand themselves well and yet still can't quite get out of their own way.
